Since 1969, Flatlanders Ski & Adventure Club has been a source of fellowship, fun, great economical family vacations, and other outdoor activities.

What We are All About:

This club was founded over 30 years ago with only one thing in mind...Affordable Ski Trips. Since then, our club has gone full circle. We share the love of snow skiing with those who love snowboarding, rafting, scuba diving, water skiing, skating, windsurfing, biking and many other outdoor sports. Though many of our members share a competitive spirit, many of our members are just intermediate skiers, with no or very little time on the slopes. We also have members who do not ski at all, they enjoy the unique shopping experiences from all over the world, and the close fellowship and social events.

We enjoy club races against the other clubs in the Texas Ski Council, and are proud to hold many trophies and awards for these races.

Our Commitment to the Community

Over the years, each holiday season, the Flatlanders come together to provide the less fortunate children of West Texas, with Christmas gifts. We work in conjunction with the Salvation Army, Marine Corp., Fire Dept., and KWES T.V. Channel 9 for TOYS for TOTS to make these children feel special during the holiday season. Many thanks to our generous sponsors who donate merchandise, time and funds to help us, help these kids. Without our members' help and the help of our sponsors, these children would not have a Christmas. We are fortunate to have members and a community like ours to make this happen.

We also volunteer for the annual AIRSHO produced by the Commemorative Air Force, a true privilege and experience of Patriotism . The Flatlanders support our past, present and future soldiers in their defense of the values we all hold so dear .
