The list
Listed below
are some things that you want to take to be safe and comfortable on the slopes and the road, along with some things that will
be redundant and should be left behind. First, the things that should be taken for a road trip:
- Something to entertain you on the road (think small)
- A small selection of
CD’s, laptop, books, DVD’s etc
- Cell Phone (it may / may not
work up there. who knows)
- Snacks for trip
- Ice Scraper
- Snow Chains
- Flash Light
- Tools
- Jack & Spare Tire
- Maps
- Be sure and have your vehicular serviced before leaving on a trip, especially the antifreeze
in your radiator.
Personal Items;
- Jacket
- Ski or Boarding Pants
- Thermax or Polypro Ski Socks (1 for each day on the mountain)
- Regular Socks
- clothes to wear under ski gear
- Hats, Head bands, Ear muffs
- Gloves, goggles (SKI goggles) and/or sunglasses
- Equipment ( ski’s, boots, poles, or board, boots, leash)
- Back Pack
- Sun Protection ( sun screen and lip balm, zinc)
- Two Way Radios (optional, but good to have)
- Water Bottle or Camelback
- 1-3 normal sets of clothes to go out in
· Swim suit (for hot tub)
- Shoes to wear in the snow
Other things;
- Money, Credit Card or ATM Card
- Medications (Allergies, Aspirin, etc...)
- Current valid official identification, medical insurance
and driving insurance
- Cameras, DVcams, other
- Watch / Timepiece

- Things
not to take;
· Your entire winter wardrobe
· Your entire library, music
or written
· Your computer unless it’s
a laptop
· Life jackets, rafts, canoes,
house boat
· Large Radios / Boom Boxes
/ Ghetto Blasters
· Anything
fragile or of value, e.g. pictures of family or China
· Try to
pack LIGHT / under pack. If needed, you can go to the Laundromat
· Big screen
